Forum Civil Peace Service (forumZFD)in BiH and the Post-Conflict Research Center in BiH (PCRC) in cooperation with Omladinski Resursni Centar (ORC) Tuzla; IPAK-Mladost gradi budućnost, Tuzla; Humanity in Action BiH; EUROCLIO-HIP BiH; Mladi Volonteri (Visoko); Srce Grad (Goražde);Mreža za izgradnju mira BiH (Network for building peace); Anne Frank House (the Netherlands) and pax christi Aachen (Germany), have the pleasure to invite you to apply to the regional Youth Event 2015 in Tuzla (YET): “There is always a choice”- Civil courage in times of war and peace.
From 27th to 30th August 2015, the Youth Event in Tuzla (YET) involving mainly participants from the Western Balkans and BiH will take place in Tuzla (Bosna and Herzegovina). This Event will be a regional exchange platform and place for debates, education and information related to the topics of dealing with the past, culture of remembrance and memory work in general, with the particular focus on civil courage. Up to 150 young people (18-30 years old) from the region as well as the large public and other spontanously registered participants are expected to meet and to be part of the large forum of multidisciplinary activities. The Youth Event will be based on educational workshops, panel discussions, conferences, exhibitions, documentaries and film screenings, theatre performances and other cultural events and artistic work presentations. The Youth Event will be the learning place for reflection and exchange of good practices and projects among students and young activists. Together with experienced organisations and insitutions of BiH and the Western Balkans the participants will question the past and the lessons learnt from our individual or collective attitudes and behaviors in order to propose relevant tools, thoughts and civil actions for better future without violence.
