We conduct high quality independent research and thereby provide innovative, applicable recommendations, aiming at:- Strengthening liberal democracy in Serbia – Endorsement of the principles of supremacy of individual human rights, pursuit of transitional justice, sincere facing with the past and reconciliation in the region- Accelerating Serbia’s integration into Euro-Atlantic structures and increasing its ability of facing global challenges through joint international activities- Participation in building and securing a more open, safer, prosperous and cooperative international system, based on smart globalization.

CEAS Vision

Institutionalized liberal democracy in Serbia, providing for a lean and accountable government, established rule of law, secured individual – and thereupon derived collective – human rights and freedom, and a functional free market economy. Serbia is fully integrated into the European Union, NATO and other relevant Euro-Atlantic structures, thus actively participating in facing the challenges of an ever globalizing world.

Our overall goal is to facilitate better understanding of the EU, NATO and Euro-Atlantic liberal values of voluntary cooperation, inventiveness and progress, as well as of the policies and benefits of a full membership in EU and NATO, by disseminating information – and raising awareness amongst broader public or specific target groups in Serbia – on the Euro-Atlantic values and policies, and by creating viable policies, thus promoting the benefits to the citizens of Serbia deliverable by an EU or NATO membership of the country.
