 USAID Projekat za razvoj konkurentnosti /Booz Allen Hamilton/ u saradnji sa Centrom za razvoj karijere i savetovanje studenata Univerziteta u Beogradu poziva studente završnih godina, apsolvente i diplomce koji odlično govore engleski jezik i razumeju se u Informacione tehnologije da se prijave za praksu u IT sektoru

The USAID Serbia Competitiveness Project organizes a Student Internship Program which will run from January through June 2010. The internship program is based in Belgrade and it will require 3-6 months of full time work days. Intern will receive a stipend based upon level of education and experience.

Specific tasks for the IT Sector Intern:

1. Assist Industry Advisor with the necessary market research and assessment of stakeholders in support of Cyber Security Capacity Building Activity

2. Research the requirements for introduction of security-related ISO standards for SMEs and current state in the market

3. Prepare the necessary market research and identify local IT vendors and potential clients in support of Information Technology Upgrading Activity

4. Prepare the necessary research in support of activities dedicated to promotion of exports of IT services (outsourcing) and IT industry branding

5. Assist Industry Advisor with planning and preparation of meetings, visits and interviews in support of all ICT sector activities

6. Assist Industry Advisor in design of and perform maintenance of the Cyber Security Training Voucher system and communication with service providers, candidates and other stakeholders

7. Take over responsibility for maintenance of the PMI Project Management voucher system and communication with PM training providers, candidates and other stakeholders in the PM Training and Certification Program

8. Updating and maintenance of IT sector company database and distribution lists

Qualifications:

– College seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates of Information Technology or IT related discipline from Belgrade University

– Unquestionable honesty and integrity in all matters

– A positive, friendly, professional, can-do attitude and appearance in serving as a representative of the project

– A forward-thinking and pro-active approach to working; always looking to stay ahead of the game; ability to work with minimal supervision

– Maturity in all interactions with colleagues within the office, as well as contacts outside the office

– Strong English language skills, including written and oral communications

– Preferably a student of Information Technology or IT-related discipline or possessing a

strong interest and familiarity with IT

– Familiarity with at least one of the following:

– Information Systems Security concepts and certifications

– Project management methodologies (such as PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA)

– IT Outsourcing trends and strategies

– Familiarity (at least broadly) with global and local IT trends, market players and competitive environment in Serbia
