Short description: KVT Finland, Finnish branch of SCI is looking for a EVS-volunteer for spring and summer 2009. Volunteer will work as a incoming placement officer and also help us evaluate our workcamps.
Long description: The work is placing foreign volunteers to Finnish workcamps. Volunteer will also visit most of our camps during the season and help us to evaluate them. It is possible to lead a workcamp if the volunteer wishes to. Part of the job is also helping to organise our annual campleader training. Work is avarege 30 hours/week, sometimes also on weekends. There will be possibility to take time off, especially in the quieter periods. Requirements for the job are good english, communication and organisation skills, computer knowledge, flexibility on work and above all interest in intercultural exchange. Preference is given to volunteers who are from disadvantaced backrounds.
We offer accommodation probably in shared apartment(own room), Food expences, pocket money and local transport costs. Volunteer will be working in KVT:s office together with two pretty nice Finnish employees and will also have a volunteer as a support person
