The Dresden scholarship for photography of the Foundation for Art & Culture of the city Sparkasse Dresden aimed at photographers, the main self-employed or work as a photographer and an arts degree, at least one public personnel issue or publication with its own photographic works, as well their food item not in Dresden. The scholarship will be artistic and / or documentary projects, which focus the photographic image and photographic processes. In doing so, the photographic exploration of the city of Dresden play a central role, without the scholarship to urban photography in the strict sense should be.
The presence on the ground is expected. The scholarship covers work during the three-month stay in Dresden funding in the amount of € 1,000 / month, a grant for material costs amounting to a maximum of € 1,000 and free accommodation.
The fellowship as a result of the work will be created where possible by an exhibition at the Dresden Technical collections of a wide public.
