INYS is a programme for bringing together young researchers from the UK and other countries to make new contacts and promote the creative exchange of ideas through short conferences. The events can be held in any area of research, covering all subjects of science, technology and engineering and including social sciences and arts humanities, as long as the subject is research based and is identified as a priority for both the UK research Councils and the partner's national government. The events are aimed at bringing early career researchers from the UK and an equal number of local researchers from the partner country together to share ideas and knowledge and to build research links. The ideal number of participants is between 15 – 20 researchers from each country.

Application deadline: July, 2nd 2008
