Regional Youth Peace Camp Kosovo 2013 from 13 to 20 September, co-organized by Youth Peace Ambassadors Project and Youth Department of the Council of Europe with support of Ministry of Youth Cultures and Sports Government of Kosovo and European Union Special Representative/European Union Office in Kosovo.
Young people aged 18-26 from Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo* and Serbia can apply in Regional Youth Peace Camp 2013 Kosovo by Wednesday 28 August 2013 10:00 am at the latest.
For 9 years now the Council of Europe’s Youth Peace Camps have enabled young people and youth organizations from conflict-stricken regions to engage in dialogue and conflict transformation activities through human rights education and intercultural learning and to gain positive experiences of living and learning with others. Many participants have had a chance to talk face to face with young people from “the other side” for the first time in their lives.
On their return home, participants are expected to pass on what they have learnt – particularly the importance of dialogue, peace-building, human rights as a framework for conflict-resolution and non-violence – to other young people in their groups, communities and organizations.
A support letter is NOT needed for this application!
