On our training course we will develop new knowledge and skills for participants who work with unemployed youth. Participants will use web and open source platforms for increasing their inclusion in social life and economic market in their local communities.
Who we are:
The host organization is CSO Education Center Novi Sad from Novi Sad, Serbia.
Education Center Novi Sad was founded as a non-governmental and non-profit organization.
The main objectives and tasks of the association are:

About the Project
The main goal of our training course “Raising youth e-mployability” is to improve and increase knowledge, learning methods and experiences of participants, which they can use in everyday work with unemployed young people (young people with economical obstacles), including them in active local community life.
Idea
It is foreseen that participants will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for using web and open source platforms and other e-techniques. That will be used in their further work with their beneficiaries (young people with economical obstacles). Participants will exchange their earlier experiences and they will get a new ones. Each one of them is going to be given a chance to express himself or herself and to participate in making final product of our activities which will be presented on the last day of training course.
Also they will create ability to improve their visibility and to became more competent on job market. In this way, it is envisaged that unemployed young people will get more opportunities for finding and starting a new career.
The outcome of this training course is planned to be:

Website, on which is gonna be showed all activities from our Training course. Training and educative materials from our training course will be available for free download on this website. This website will be created by participants themselves (using method of learning by doing).

Second product of our training course is gonna be tutorial video which is gonna be recorded during our training course. In that video we will show basic steps of making a new website, by using open source tools. In this way young people would be empowered with new knowledge and skills which can help them for finding and starting a new career.
This material (video tutorial) will be available to each visitor on our website.

Every participant in this project is gonna get his/hers own website on which they can promote their ambitions, affinities, personal life goals, hobbies, activities, etc.
Target group on our training course: youth workers, youth leaders, NGO activists, school teachers, social workers and all people actively involved in work with unemployed young people (young people with economical obstacles).

presentation of Youth in Action Program and informing unemployed youth about new possibilities,

presentation of non-formal education and informal way of learning,

ice-breakers, team building exercises, individual and group activities,

work on practical examples in a small groups, discussions, debates, presentations,

introduction to web development through history,

introduction to open source tools and free web platforms,

making our website, without complications, additional programs and previous e-knowledge,

simple and automatic creating of web presentation,

choosing design and structure of our website,

fast and easy approach to internet presentation,

changing content of website directly on website (“online” – in web space),

100% for accommodation and food will be covered and 70% of travel cost will be reimbursed after receiving original receipts.
