Program Officer is responsible for raising funds for social programs, taking part in preparing, implementation, keeping track and monitoring social programs and building and maintain good relationship with internal and external partners in order to respond to the needs of children in rural areas of Serbia and Montenegro on the most appropriate way.
Main responsibilities
Raise funds for social programs and build and maintain good relationship with external partners and ensure high quality flow of information
- visits to potential donors, research of their needs and willing to make donations,
- Contacts with Donors (domestic and foreign): WV SOs, International Agencies, Embassies, Foreign Companies, Domestic Companies, Individuals – constant correspondence and meetings and keeping good relationships with them.
- Contacts with Partners (domestic and foreign) – constant correspondence and meetings and keeping good relationships with them.
Build and maintain good relationship with internal partners and ensure high quality flow of information
- Contacts with BOs in order to gather information from them related to the projects and when needed, to inform them about external happenings related to the same issue – constant correspondence, calls and meetings and keeping good relationships with them.
Take part in preparing, implementation and monitoring social programs and projects in order to respond to needs of children in rural areas of Serbia and Montenegro on most appropriate way

- Logistic providing for implementation of projects – making schedules, making visits, accompany and hosting visitors, organize their transport, hotels, visas and be a good host.
- Administration related to programs -preparing required documentations by the procedures and policies of Social Programs, preparing policies, contracts, making transfers, contact with banks, lawyers, external associates etc.
Responsible for proper keeping track of social programs achievements
- Check completeness of social programs files and documentation in BOs.
- Update and maintain HC database in cooperation with IT and BMs
- Making of Reports and submitting it to Programme Director regularly – Impact Management Report (Economic Impact Indicators, Social Indicators, Spiritual Indicators) on a monthly basis and all other reports that appear to be needed during different project implementations, due to additional request of Donors, Partners or Programme Director and when required.
Technical Competences
· Bachelor degree in social or other related subjects.
· Previous experience in fundraising or project management is advantage
· Strong oral and written English language knowledge.
· Strong knowledge of MS office program packet.
· Organizational and communication skills in prior working experience.
· Driving license and ability to travel 50% of working time.
· Ability to work in dynamic and changing environment.
· Ability to work under pressure, with team members and individually.
