Contest of the program “Junge Wege in Europa” (Young Routes in Europe – joint projects of pupils and youth groups from Germany and Central and Eastern Europe), project year 2007/ 2008
Dear teachers and tutors,
dear pupils, dear teenagers,
until May 15th, 2007, school- and youth groups from Germany and Central or Eastern Europe can apply for financial and organizational support of their joint projects at the program “Junge Wege in Europa”.
The program, which is carried out by MitOst e.V., received 500.000 Euro from the Robert Bosch Foundation to support joint projects in the project year 2007/2008.
Application for the project year 2007/2008:
Interested groups can apply with a joint outline proposal, which should include the idea, the goal as well as a daily schedule and the costs of the project. The participants should be 13 to 21 years old.
Projects that are classified as eligible for financial support by the jury receive an invitation for a counseling workshop in September 2007. The project managers from both countries (in trinational projects from all three countries) get the opportunity to develop their joint project further, receive further training in project management, and get to know other project ideas and as well as other project managers.
The jointly improved project plan is the base for the final decision of the contest.
The sponsored projects will be taking place between December 1st, 2007, and November 30th, 2008. The next round of application will be in autumn 2007, deadline for submission of entries will be on December 15th, 2007.
Especially successful projects will be awarded and have the opportunity to present themselves at a celebration.
