ISWiB 011 is the largest international student festival in South-eastern Europe which will take place from 10th to 17th of July and gather over 200 participants from more than 50 countries from all over the world.
Most of us use Facebook or Twitter almost every day. We share our thoughts, moods, photos and music we like with our friends. Some of us are only flirting or playing games there. But, have youever thought about these social networks for some other, “socially aware” things, such as recent protests against government in Egypt. Do you believe new media can, for example, encourage students to express their attitudes and help them to initiate some concrete actions? On other hand, what about traditional media such as television or newspapers? Have they lost their influence on young people or they can keep up in this harsh race?
We proudly present our guest speakers:
– Jasna Matić, State Secretary for Digital agenda
– Igor Božić, Editor-in chief in “Blic” newspaper
– Srećko Šekeljić, Grants Programme Coordinator in Institute for Sustainable Development
– Tihomir Stojanović, E- PR Executive McCann Erickson, founder of “Mreža kreativnih ljudi”.
Panel discussion is done in cooperation with Heinrich Böll Stiftung Eastern Europe.
