“BECOMING A CHANGE AGENT”

PushLAB, Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA), Zagreb School of Economics and Management and Youth Centre Pannonian Sea invite you to participate in the INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL:
BECOMING A CHANGE AGENT

Zagreb, Croatia
June 24 – July 14 2007

Becoming a Change Agent (BCA) is a three week long intense, fully experimental, and team-based immersion course. The course puts students in the position of NGO organizers seeking to resolve critical social problems or senior corporate social responsibility (CSR) officers to analyze and engage the economic, political, and social environment in which their firm operates. In small teams, students initiate and develop projects that create positive change in society. This course will take you through this process step-by-step from issue identification to practicing (and holding!) a live press conference.

Participation fee for EU participants is 550€, and for participants from Eastern Europe and Asia 250€. The course fee does not include travel expenses. Keep in mind that a limited number of partial stipends is available. If you wish to be considered for a stipend, please mention it in the cover letter of your application. A substantially smaller fee will be charged to participants from Zagreb who choose to stay in their homes instead of the student dorms where all the participants will be accommodated.

The participation fee covers all costs during three weeks (accommodation in the student dorm, meals, teaching materials, public transportation in Zagreb, weekend excursions and museum entrance fees).

Extended application deadline is June 7, 2007.
