For trainers / youth workers from Romania, Netherlands, Lithuania, Serbia, Italy and Germany.

THE PROJECT contains two training se minars: one in Berlin (04.03. 12.03.2016) and one in Bucharest (05.09. 12.09.2016) and a practice period for newlearned nonformal educational approaches in the home countries inbetween them. We will learn, try out, discuss and eva luate a large variety of nonformal pe dagogical approaches to deal with the European eastwest history and it` s current consequences. To reflect the European history and the still existing stereotypes about „the east“ and „the west“ is an important part of political education and is contributing to a peaceful Europe in future. The participants will also get informati on about the (re)appraisal of the GDR history of Germany and the communist time in Romania. In order to deal with the wide range of pedagogical ap proaches both trainings involve activi ties such as doing excursions to historical memorial places, talking with contemporary witnesses, doing biogra phical work and trying out creative and artistic methods, like streetart.

The language of communication during the trainings will be English, the food will be vegetari an/vegan. The costs for travelling, accomodation, public transport, food and program will be covered by the EU Program Eras mus+. The only costs for you would be a participant fee of alltogether 100 Euro (for both trainings). It` s important to participate in both trainings; it’s not possible to apply just for one of them. And it` s needed that you` re motivated to try out and eva luate the new pedagogical approa ches in your pedagogical work between the trainings :) To apply for the participation in this project please fill in the online application form on our website
